The more of this book I read the more I am sickened… I’ve wanted to read this book for years (20+) and was lead to believe it was a great story. It turns out to be the story of a delusionaly old man who goes around fighting, drinking and almost raping women (the inn keepers daughter in Part 1. Chapter 16).

Don Quijote 2
“Not all adventures are island winning adventures, some are merely cracked head and missing ear adventures.”
I love this quote!
Don Quijote 1
So the inkeeper realizes Don is mentally ill and desides to play along with him… Okay I can see a stranger doing this. However, when his own family/staff decides to burn his books then tell Don Quijote that a magician has carried away not only the books, but the room itself. “A magician riding a snake said he was angry with the owner of the books, and took the books and library away in a puff of smoke.“…WTH? How is that suppose to help him get over his fantasies?!
